Dear Parents of Excellence,

World Teachers’ Day, as designated by the United Nations, is Monday, October 5th, 2020.  This year the Ministry of Education plans to hold a Proclamation on the Steps of City Hall to celebrate and honor Bermuda’s teachers on Monday, October 5 at 12:00 p.m.

Below are a few suggested ways you or your child may wish to show gratitude:

1. A special treat
2. A thank-you card
3. A hand drawn picture
4. A shout out on social media
5. A classroom supply: Expo markers, Post-It Notes, pens

I recognize that COVID-19 makes it more challenging to do many things, but one small act of kindness shown to the best staff in the Universe would mean a lot.
