PIP

The Premature Infant Programme (PIP) works with you to determine the best possible intervention for you and your premature infant. We offer Developmental Monitoring, the Parent/Infant Group, Parent Education groups, assistance with accessing community resources, and ongoing support as needed. 

Benefits to the child:

• Intervenes in the risk for developmental delay both physically and mentally for babies born early
• Promotes intellectual, language, and motor developmental
• Provides much needed information about child development and ways to stimulate your child

• Research shows that parental involvement is the most important element in enhancing your preterm infant’s development
